Our 2007 Summer Vacation..

During our stay in Pennsylvania, the children were lucky enough to participate in
the Royserford Untied Methodist Church's Vacation Bible School. The theme was "Lift Up to Jesus" and
the symbol was the hot air balloon. As a special surprise, the children were all treated to a REAL hot air balloon ride!

All the children waiting anxiously!!!

Sam was quite the ladies man. LOL

Austin was a bit nervous, but Kate was excited...until it was her time to go up anyway...

And yet another group shot...

Sam was in the first group- He was so excited!

Up, Up, and Away!! Sam is covering his ears because the flame was so loud

Sam was on cloud nine. He loved every minute of his ride.

Ou hot air balloonist!

Austin was really scared, so I was trying to comfort him- to no avail.

The basket sure was moving a lot.

In the end, Austin got out, and the basket began to lift off.

Her are Gracie and I in the air. Gracie was not sure she liked it.

Here is a better shot of me and Gracie.

Now it is Cindy's turn... She was a little timid, so she opted to stay in the center of the basket.

Because Cindy was in the center, you really couldn't see her, but this was her flight.

Little Bo Peep... Where are your sheep? Gracie was showing me her crying face...

And her Puppy Dog Face!

Sam and Michelle were always together during VBS.

Big Sean making a silly face.

The Balloon

Cindy.

During our trip, we also visited an amazing farm. It was so beautiful.

It was really REALLY hot, so the kids took a break under the tree.

Ahh, hot, sweaty, tired kids... so much fun!

We saw a Donkey- which Kate INSISTED was a horse.

And a wolf- which Kate INSISTED was a dog.

And a pig. Luckily, Kate knows what a pig is.

These pigs are only 1 week old.

They were so cute, I really wanted to take one home.

On Sunday, the children sang for the church. Kate did her own thing.

She beats to her own drummer.

Gracie and Michelle were front and center. They knew all the words and all the moves. Future Stars.

Sam and Kate.

Cindy and Austin
