Calendar Kids

On November 27, 2005, the kids posed for a series of pictures that will go in this year's family calendar.

Here is a look at the photos!

We tried to get Kate to be a part of the picture

But, alas, she did not want any part of wearing a winter hat.

Maybe the January picture will just be the 3...hmmm.

Kate did a little better with February's Picture- Once we gave her a package of Starburst to hold!

Kate was back to being difficult for March, she REALLY wanted to play with the Gold Coins

Awww, isn't she generous??

And here are Cindy, Sam, and Austin showering their little lephrechaun with gold.

April was a little better, ecept that the goose she is holding TERRIFIES Her.

But she put on a brave face for the camera!

May is undoubtedly my favorite shot!

But June is a close second.

Until Sam started making a seriously silly face!

I love July! I love the way that Kate is clapping- You can tell she must be my child!

You can never get enough of July!

This was a positioning shot for August. I had to figure out where the camera needed to be

Before Kate joined in the fun!

We are thinking of positioning it this way though...

For September, I liked the idea of remembering our heroes.

The Firemen, The Policemen, and the Military.

This October shot came about by accident. Kate was supposed to be NEXT to the cauldron-

But she decided it was so much more fun to be IN the cauldron!
(This was actually the very first picture we took)

Look at all my November Turkeys!

So many blessings to be thankful for!

And finally, we got to December!

When this picture shows up on December 2006, it will be fun to see how much they have grown!

(Just for fun- this is what they looked like last year at this time- Check out how much Cindy's hair has grown!)
(Not to mention Kate's hair- Bald to Hair in 12 months!)

It amazed me how well behaved Cindy, Sam, and Austin were. This photo shoot took 5 hours to complete.
They never once complained, and kept remarking how much their family members were going to enjoy these calendars!
They didn't even mind sitting quietly- when we took an unexpected break-
It turns out the Kate got into the Starburst candies you saw back in February's picture-
and she ate some- PAPER and ALL. Needless to say, she threw it up a few moments later.
We had to stop for a moment while I cleaned her- and her gown- up. But all in all
it was a day of wonderful memories.
And here is a picture of the kids just being silly.

Here's to Hoping EVERYONE has a Great Year!
